Last Awakened Ninja Game Review: Is It Worth Playing?

Last Awakened Ninja is the first out of many mobile games I will be going through in search of really good ones. It was developed by 司徒錦俊 and that’s all I managed to find about them.

Now I’m going to try and stay open-minded and give them the benefit of the doubt (emphasis on try).

The game is an idle type of game based on characters from the beloved anime Naruto. You get to summon characters from Naruto and then you get to level them, star them up by getting dupes, put gear on them, and other stuff.

Overall Appeal 5/10

When it comes to the looks of the game, for an idle type of game it does look decent. The character design, effects, and animation are mediocre at best. I would love to see them improve on it someday but I doubt it. However, it’s not bad in general (especially for a mobile game), hence the rating.

Playability 3/10

When it comes to actual playability, it all comes down to pressing play and waiting out the battle to finish or skipping the fight altogether.

After a couple of days of actually playing, you’ll easily finish daily tasks and missions within a few minutes. And that’s pretty much it until the next day. Well, except you can log in once every 8 hours to pick up goodies from AFK farming but nothing else. So if you are into that type of game, this game is definitely for you.

Is it Free to Play Friendly? 2/10

Well, it’s free to play but is it F2P friendly? Hell nah.

I had an opportunity to start on the brand-new server, and after a week of playing, I can say the difference between a regular player and a whale is huge.

Not only do they have 5 (12 times more than number 1) times bigger power level than me but they also level faster than me. Which also means you can’t compete with them in any dungeon or arena.

All those top rewards for clearing stuff are theirs. As a F2P player, the first thing that appears when you log into the game is a shiny pop-up with all the shiny rewards you get if you just spend money.

And of course, those rewards get even shinier if you spend more. Let’s put that in the okay category because they gotta let us know what we get for supporting the game.

But for the rest of the stuff that I encountered, I’m not going to let it slide. All of the “events” in the game are basically locked by the paywall and created to draw out as much money as you have in your bank account. Yeah, they give you a little taste for free but in the end, it doesn’t make any difference in comparison to what you get if you spend.

Tips & Game Codes

If you are still considering playing the game I found a couple of codes to get you started.

  • Naruto2222
  • Naruto3333
  • Naruto4444
  • Naruto5555
  • Naruto7777
  • EPICSUMMON50

Final thoughts

As far as it goes in my search for a nice mobile game, this one isn’t it.

Last Awakened Ninja seems like a very well-thought-out scheme to get as much cash as possible from Naruto fans. I mean they are running a summer beach event in the middle of January, which was probably designed and run previously.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they have like a couple of events made and they just put them in different rotations. If they were interesting events instead of just cash grabs I wouldn’t say anything but this is just shameful.

Because there isn’t a review option for the game in the Play Store (WHAT A SHOCKER), I can’t take that into the final score. So in the end this game gets 3.3/10. Which in my humble opinion is more than enough. Again on a chance to be annoying and repetitive, tread carefully and spend responsibly.

Until next time, CYA.
